In 2022, I had the privilege of shadowing Rina Yang, BSC, on the set of FKA Twigs' PLAYSCAPE commercial. This two-day experience offered deep insights into the technical and collaborative aspects of filmmaking. As a camera intern, I ensured batteries were charged and ready, a task that highlighted the importance of attention to detail and teamwork.

Beyond this, I gained hands-on knowledge about camera monitors, lenses, and the role of the focus puller. I also learnt the significance of clear communication on set and the impact of maintaining a positive atmosphere during long shoots. This experience was instrumental in shaping my approach to filmmaking and has greatly influenced my work on university projects.
