Narcissus is dead - 2021
This short film was created as a solo project over the course of two days during my Art Foundation Diagnostic Course at Central Saint Martins, UAL. The project was inspired by the prompt "Alternative Ecologies," with a focus on one of the four classical elements. I chose water as my subject, specifically exploring its reflective qualities.
In this film, I delve into the intricate relationship between reflections and themes of beauty and vanity, drawing inspiration from the myth of Narcissus. Through visual storytelling, I aim to examine how reflections in water can mirror both physical appearance and deeper psychological states, inviting the viewer to contemplate the allure and consequences of self-obsession.
